Muzzammil Ali Khan has published a five-point public programme for Malerkotla. The five points are education, skills and jobs; safety and recovery; cleanliness and civic services; sports and young people; and health services.
Each point carries public measures, such as doorstep waste collection, staff vacancies at health facilities and apprenticeship numbers, so that progress can be checked rather than asserted.
The programme is available as a ten-page manifesto in Punjabi and English. Detailed proposals setting out cost, legal authority, responsible institution and timetable are to follow.
